Meet Dr. Jessica Vernon. She is a board-certified OB-GYN in New York City and Expectful Advisor. She's also a mother, having gone through her own experience with the emotional roller coaster and ultimately, more deeply understanding the real concerns of Mom. As a physician, she's taken on the challenge of fully breaking down the terms we so often hear even before pregnancy and creates realistic expectations and scopes of risk. She does this all with the goal of decreasing stress and anxiety around misconceptions and misunderstandings. She is here to not only be your Mom Friend, but your Doctor Friend, finally setting the record straight on all things motherhood.

In addition to offering judgement-free and evidence-backed reviews, she actively cares for and supports women with low- and high-risk pregnancies every single day. After becoming a mother in 2018, she gained an even greater love and appreciation for her work, understanding at a deeper level the importance of partnership and trust among the care team, patient, and family.
